Thorsten Freitag is Senior Vice President of Sales, EMEA at F5 Networks. Based in Munich, Freitag joined F5 in 2009 and leads all sales activities in Europe, Middle East and Africa. His experience in the IT industry encompasses leading roles across the globe. He held positions as Senior Vice President at Siemens Enterprise Communications in charge of their worldwide channel and alliances organization, as well as their North and Eastern European operations. Prior to that, Freitag spent 9 years at Cisco Systems, initially running the Public Sector and Enterprise teams in Germany, then heading Cisco’s operations in South Korea and, subsequently, Sub-Saharan Africa. Freitag holds a B. Sc. in Information Technologies & Business Administration from the University of Lahr, Germany.
