Message Security Module^™

The BIG-IP^® Message Security Module is the industry's first reputation-based, perimeter anti-spam solution integrated into the application delivery control network. The module leverages reputation data from Secure Computing's TrustedSource™ multi-identity reputation engine, which allows it to extend security for message applications to the edge of the corporate network and eliminate unwanted e-mail.

Up To 70% Reduction in Unwanted E-mail

Stops up to 70 percent of unwanted e-mail at the edge of the network. This keeps illegitimate messages from clogging up bandwidth and frees up capacity on existing anti-spam solutions.

Real-Time Lookup of Sender Reputation

Gives customers the ability to set up sophisticated message distribution policies based on a dynamic reputation-based system. This allows intelligent filtering that reduces costs and provides a more proactive approach to blocking unwanted senders than a simple "black list."

Reduced Costs

Works with other F5 security solutions to save bandwidth, use fewer server resources, reduce business continuity risks, and lower overall infrastructure costs. This module also reduces the load on current anti-spam deep inspection solutions, by stopping unwanted messages at the network perimeter.

Runs On The Unique TMOS Architecture

Installs easily as an add-on module to existing BIG-IP LTM version 9.2 or higher systems, thanks to the F5 TMOS architecture. This module takes advantage of LTM's Application Delivery Controller functionality, allowing complete control over mail delivery.
