Intelligent File Virtualization Devices

ARX devices are high performance, enterprise-class intelligent file virtualization systems that dramatically simplify storage management and lower total storage management costs. ARX systems automate data management tasks and eliminate the disruption associated with storage management operations, resulting in a dramatic improvement in cost, agility, and business efficiency.

The ARX Series provides multiple services in a single platform, including global namespace, data migration, storage tiering, and capacity balancing.

ARX is available on multiple platforms:

ARX4000 Series Hardware

ARX4000

The ARX4000 is a 4U rack-mount device designed for the largest enterprise data centers. It supports file storage environments with up to 12,000 users and can be configured with either 12 Gigabit Ethernet or two 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports for up to 12 Gbps throughput.* ARX4000 also supports redundant, hot-swappable power supplies.

ARX2500 Series Hardware

ARX2500

The ARX2500 is a 1U rack-mount device designed for medium-to-large enterprises. It supports file storage environments with up to 6,000 users* and is configured with 2 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports for up to 8 Gbps throughput.* ARX2500 also supports redundant, hot-swappable power supplies

ARX25000 Series Hardware

ARX2000

The ARX2000 is a 2U rack-mount device designed for medium-to-large enterprises. It supports file storage environments with up to 6,000 users and is configured with 12 Gigabit Ethernet ports for up to 4 Gbps throughput.* ARX2000 also supports redundant, hot-swappable power supplies.

ARX1500 Series Hardware

ARX1500

The ARX1500 is a 1U rack-mount device designed for small-to-medium enterprises or regional office deployments. It supports file storage environments with up to 3,000 users* and is configured with 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports for up to 3.2 Gbps throughput.* ARX1500 also supports redundant, hot-swappable power supplies.
