Cloud acceleration should be one of the key drivers of digital transformation in BFSIs. Already, we are witnessing an increasing number of banks adopt a diversified cloud strategy focusing on 4 key benefits including cost, speed, resilience and flexibility. With 72% of BFSIs saying they will achieve higher levels of cloud maturity by 2022, the question is whether they will be identifying and prioritizing moving application, workloads, and business process to the cloud in a manner that delivers the best results.

Cloud migration and cloud operation pose many risks, which need to be addressed, but this is just the first step. Cloud-mature organizations are now moving to the edge which allows them to deliver applications that are even more user-centric than before. This means BFSIs are moving towards IT transformation supported by distributed applications and a multi-cloud approach.

Our two-part webinar series on modernizing IT frameworks for BFSIs will focus on charting the right course for towards IT modernization underpinned by the cloud, mitigating risks and moving to a distributed cloud ecosystem.

On-Demand Session 1: Workloads Primed for the Cloud – How and Why BFSI’s Should Move to Being more Cloud-Centric

Here, IDC and F5 will attempt to dissect, analyze, and strategize the cloud-centric approach perfectly suited to transform the legacy IT frameworks of BFSIs and put them on the path of modernization, backed by a cloud-centric digital transformation approach.

Agenda:

Highlight FSI workloads primed for cloud, and dissecting drivers for workloads migration (1) cost economics (2) agile transformation (3) Real-world challenges

Right-size the cloud priorities for banks in 2022 and beyond and why they need to take advantage of the cloud for fueling their capacity to innovate.

How can banks solve real world challenges of moving to the cloud?

On-Demand Session 2: Moving to the Edge: Deploying, Managing, and Securing a Distributed Edge Environment

In this webinar, F5 moves a step ahead in discussing modernization evolution, wherein relentless attempts at modernization should also be balanced with effective risk mitigation especially involving cloud migration and operations. This in turn will help build a solid foundation for distributed cloud and leveraging edge applications that can help reduce TCO, complexities and deliver on-demand scalability as workload increases. This will be discussed through the prism of F5’s Edge Application Platform.

Agenda:

Building Resilience in the Cloud: Cloud Migration Risk & Cloud Operation Risk

Evolution of Edge and why it’s important for business?.

Edge Application Platform: How smart branches leverage on edge applications?

Practitioner’s Insights on Cloud Migration Risk and Cloud Operation Risk.
