Join F5 for a full day of tech-packed learning in this one-day hands-on bootcamp focused on BIG-IP Next.

F5 is modernizing its ADC solutions, and BIG-IP Next will carry forward the comprehensive suite of classic BIG-IP solutions developed over the past two decades. This hands-on session will let you increase your knowledge on BIG-IP Next ready to support your customers.

Agenda highlights

LAB part 1

  • Access UDF, and from there you login to BIG-IP Next Central Manager. In BIG-IP CM you will learn how to discover BIG-IP Next nodes and activate licenses.
  • Deploy and operate Applications using iRules and templates and see how easy it is to migrate an application from BIG-IP Classic to BIG-IP Next.
  • In anticipation of the GD releases for the DNS and Access modules there is a preview lab on global resiliency and one how to setup Identity Aware Proxy using SSO.

LAB part 2

  • You will start modifying Templates and adding WAF Security Policies.
  • Upgrade a BIG-IP Next Instance and create a BIG-IP Next HA setup.
  • Part 2 finishes with some operations exercises and examples that help debugging and troubleshooting BIG-IP Next.

Bootcamp pre-requisites:

To get the best out of this bootcamp we recommend you to complete step 1 and step 2 of the BIG-IP Next – Technical Learning path as described in Partner Central.

As the diagram below shows, once finished step 1 and 2 you have earned your BIG-IP Next Accreditation badge and meet the pre-requisites for this bootcamp, being the 3rd step in this BIG-IP Next Learning Path.

Please ensure you bring a Laptop / MacBook as you will be required to access the F5 training systems as part of the training.
