This deployment guide includes instructions on both configuring the new iApp, and manual configuration for BIG-IP LTM and AAM.
The BIG-IP system provides a number of ways to accelerate, optimize, and scale Microsoft IIS deployments. When BIG-IP LTM relieves IIS servers from tasks such as compression, caching, and SSL processing, each server is able to devote more resources to running applications and can service more user requests.
The following diagram shows the different ways you can configure the BIG-IP system for SSL traffic for IIS implementations described in the deployment guide.
