Please also ensure you include your (ISC)2 Member ID in the corresponding field in the post-event survey.
NGINX One is an all-in-one platform and a unified package that includes a cloud-based dashboard and access to F5 Distributed Cloud. Customers get advanced load balancing, web and application server capabilities, API gateway functionalities, and security features. Please join us for a briefing on NGINX One followed by a hands-on lab. The lab will give you an overview of how the NGINX One console provides visibility into a global fleet of NGINX instances, both NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source (OSS).
In this lab session, you’ll explore the core features of NGINX Plus and how to integrate it into modern CI/CD pipelines. You will start by installing NGINX Plus and learning basic command-line operations. Next, you’ll configure NGINX Plus, explore its logging and observability capabilities, and learn how to leverage its API for improved traffic management. We will then demonstrate how to integrate NGINX Plus into your CI/CD pipeline using GitLab, enabling continuous deployment.
This two-hour hands-on lab will guide participants through essential aspects of performance testing and security hardening for NGINX deployments. Participants will explore methods for tuning configurations to optimise performance while addressing security requirements. The lab will highlight how misconfigurations can degrade performance and expose security vulnerabilities. Attendees will gain practical experience in identifying bottlenecks, applying best practices for NGINX configuration tuning, and implementing security hardening techniques.
