General‑purpose lossless compression algorithm that compresses data using a variant of the LZ77 algorithm, Huffman coding, and second‑order context modeling. The compression ratio is comparable to the best currently available general‑purpose compression methods. It is similar in speed to the Deflate algorithm but offers more dense compression.
