Distributed Denial of Service Attack

A distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack is a situation in which multiple compromised systems attack a single target with a flood of messages, shutting down access to the target system.

The F5 BIG-IP® product family protects against denial of service attacks. Stringent signature recognition standards and deep packet inspection and filtering stop malicious attacks before they cost time and money.
