Announced today, Amazon Web Services (AWS) customers can now find and purchase consulting and training services from F5 in AWS Marketplace, a curated digital catalog of software, data, and services that makes it easy to find, test, buy, and deploy software and data products that run on AWS. As a participant in the launch, F5 is one of the first AWS Partners to quote and contract services in AWS Marketplace to help customers implement, support, and manage their software on AWS.
So, What Can I Buy?
Essentially everything in the F5 portfolio can be purchased in AWS Marketplace. However, we’ve made it simpler for a number of reasons:
- You might not have time right now to scroll through a catalog to work out which SKU to order
- You might not know exactly what you’re going to need but you do know that you will need some help or some training at some point along the way
- You might not be the person who makes that choice
We’ve made it easy—as in, you can easily complete a product and services purchase in minutes. No need for conversations back and forth, no need to read through terms and conditions or sign statements of work. That’s correct. And as for enablement…
Training
F5 Training Units
Our training catalog is big and broad—and you can browse it later, perhaps when you have a better understand of which training topic, how many people to train, and at what time you need it. Simply and easily purchase F5 Training Units and consume them when you need to. No need to navigate back through the purchasing cycle. There’s added advantages too:
- Fast and flexible access to F5 education products
- Early expense planning and forecasting
F5 Digital Education
If eLearning is your preference, especially in these times of limited travel or in-person meetings, then we have two varieties of access to the full F5 and NGINX online resources. These include access to Labs and the LearnF5 Learning Management System, opening up more than 500 lessons totalling over 80 hours.
You are able to select from:
- All Access Single User – 1 Year
- All Access 10 Users – 1 Year
There really isn’t a requirement that can’t be covered on AWS.
Consulting Services
Trusted Advisor Program – Express Passes
Like our Training Units, we have added Express Passes to our AWS Marketplace offerings. The intent is to allow customers to fly through the purchasing process. You might know you’re going to need some expertise from F5 to help get the maximum value from your product purchase. You just may not know exactly yet what form it will take:

The Trusted Advisor Program allows you to engage F5 Consultants when you require them without having to go through a procurement cycle, one that may require internal justification. No delays in getting the right expertise for your project just when you require it. The Trusted Advisor Program gives you 15 Express Passes, and we will work with you to structure exactly how best to consume them against the outcomes you are aiming for. Of course, more passes can be purchased in AWS Marketplace as desired once you really start to experience the value of the Program.
Bespoke Consulting Engagement
Naturally, there will be times when you know you’re going to require something a little different. Something you can’t buy out-of-the-box, something customized precisely against your specific requirements. We’ve catered for this too. There’s no getting away from the fact that we will need to have a conversation to understand your requirements and to address those 100%, but you know that already. However, through an AWS Marketplace Private Offer, we will provide you a bespoke fixed price, fixed outcome engagement giving you confidence and reducing the burden of risk to your project. We’ve simplified the process from scoping through to procurement and, again, this means you can make your product and related services purchases in one place.
