Scale the network, not the infrastructure
Independent Tolly testing shows how BIG-IP Cloud-Native Edition delivers more capacity with dramatically fewer infrastructure resources.

Service providers must support growing subscriber demand, distributed edge deployments, AI-enabled services, and evolving network architectures, often within fixed limits for CPU, memory, power, rack space, and capital investment. The challenge is no longer simply how to process more traffic, but how to gain more capacity from the infrastructure already in place.
Join F5 for a review of independent testing conducted by The Tolly Group comparing F5 BIG-IP Cloud-Native Edition with a traditional virtualized network function architecture. The evaluation examined two critical service provider workloads, DNS query processing and Layer 4 plus Carrier-Grade NAT, across throughput, latency, CPU consumption, and memory utilization.
The results showed that BIG-IP Cloud-Native Edition delivered 1.9 times greater DNS throughput while using 91.5% less CPU and achieving 123 times more DNS queries per gigabyte of memory. For Layer 4 plus CGNAT, it delivered comparable throughput while reducing CPU consumption by 79.7%, memory consumption by 98.5%, and latency by 82%.
In this webinar, attendees will learn how a Kubernetes-native approach can help service providers increase workload density, improve infrastructure utilization, and scale network services more efficiently without expanding infrastructure at the same rate as demand.
