Getting Started with BIG-IP Advanced Firewall Manager (AFM)
This course is designed to introduce you to the core features and functionality of BIG-IP Advanced Firewall Manager (AFM). You’ll learn how to consolidate network firewall functionality onto a single application delivery platform using AFM. The course is organized around three simple customer scenarios. In the first, you’ll learn how to configure AFM to allow access to a specific application using rules defined in a scheduled network firewall policy. In the second, you’ll see how to mitigate a denial-of-service (DoS) attack using AFM. And in the third scenario, we’ll show you how to configure AFM to block or grant access based on IP Intelligence whitelists and blacklists. And, throughout the course, you’ll learn about AFM’s extensive logging and reporting capabilities.
