F5’s Beacon Cloud Service (the “Service”) provides customers with visibility and actionable insights into the health and performance of their applications.
This Privacy Statement applies to the customer data that F5 processes through the Service.
Under the data protection laws of the EU and similar jurisdictions, F5 is a processor of the customer data, and the customer is (or acts on behalf of) a controller of such data, to the extent it contains personal data.
Many Beacon customers provide no personal data to F5 through the Service. For example, they may use it to track an application’s latency and availability using only data about the application itself. However, given the extensible nature of the Service, it is possible for customers to configure it to provide the Service with personal data, such as identifiable metadata about an application end-user’s interaction with the application.
When F5 provides support or maintenance for this Service, F5 may access the same sort of data described above.
The Service can be configured to analyze, log, and display the data inputs selected by the customer.
To exercise your rights with respect to the customer data that F5 processes when providing the Service to a customer, please contact that customer. For more information about F5’s privacy practices, please see the F5 Privacy Notice.
