What’s New in NGINX Plus R19?

NGINX Plus is the only all-in-one software load balancer, API gateway, content cache, and web server. NGINX Plus R19 enhances application monitoring for greater insight into the health and performance of your NGINX ecosystem. Highlights include separate metrics collection for location blocks, new metrics about DNS lookup activity, and support for export in Prometheus format as well as JSON. The NGINX Plus dashboard is updated to display the new metrics.

This release also introduces dry‑run mode for rate limiting, so you can test the effects of rate limits on your production traffic without actually enforcing them. In addition, we've made the key‑value store more flexible with support for IP address ranges and per‑entry expiration times.
