F5 Celebrates the CRN 2023 Women of the Channel

The F5 Channel Team works every day to drive F5 Partner Programs that provide industry-leading benefits to members—helping more organizations deliver exceptional and secure digital experiences. That’s why F5 is proud to applaud members of the F5 Channel Team receiving recognition via the 2023 Women of the Channel Awards led by CRN of The Channel Company.

The Women of the Channel Awards features female executives who, through their expertise, help drive channel success at their tech solution provider organizations, including:

Jennifer Boerum, F5 Sr. National Partner Manager
As a results-driven and customer-focused leader, Jennifer Boerum has been dedicated to enabling IT excellence and building rapport and consensus among channel partners for over 20 years. She has helped build a more cohesive channel by facilitating collaboration between partners and key F5 management. Looking ahead, she’ll be working to help develop domestic and international sales strategies with corresponding tactics to help drive effective product and service placement relative to market opportunity.

Lisa Citron, Vice President, F5 Worldwide Channel Sales
Lisa Citron leads the ecosystem-centric go-to-market strategy to drive global revenue growth for F5 solutions and further establish the company as a leader in multi-cloud application security and delivery services through all commercial routes to market. In the past year, she’s worked to redefine and rearchitect F5’s global channel, launching the F5 Global Partner Ecosystem and uniting Channel Partnerships, Public Cloud, and Managed Services into one organization.

Kelly Curnow, Sr. Director, F5 Partner Enablement & Experience
As Senior Director of Partner Enablement & Experience at F5, Kelly Curnow is responsible for providing partners with the collateral, training, processes, technology, and data infrastructure that makes it easier to sell and renew F5 products and services and manage their F5 relationship. She’s been leading the strategy to modernize the F5 Partner Experience and improve how partners interact with F5, including advancing partner automation through APIs.

Amy Fisher, F5 Senior Marketing Strategist
With over 15 years of experience in marketing, program management, and creative media production, Amy Fisher excels at seeing the big picture, strategic problem solving, and facilitating primary marketing objectives. In the past year, she’s established key partner marketing relationships, created a framework for building marketing and business plans, and drove marketing strategies and tactics—including joint partner webinars, resolution of enablement challenges, and a content syndication demand generation program.

Kat McClure, F5 Global Channel and Alliances Marketing Director
With over 18 years of marketing experience within the IT and telecommunications industries, Kat McClure brings an international background to global channel marketing. In the past year, she’s helped build the Partner Ecosystem Demand Generation Center and a new Marketing Concierge function to meet unique needs. She has worked to create better tracking mechanisms, particularly to influence marketing pipe with technology partners. This has enabled the team to track and give new visibility into indirect marketing-influenced pipe from partners.

Tania McIntosh, Director, F5 Global Partner Programs
Tania McIntosh oversees worldwide partner programs and incentives and has been part of the core team that’s developing the next generation of the F5 partner program. In the past year, she has updated F5’s backend rebates for partners and partner program requirements, and rewritten program policy for internal and external stakeholders. She’s been working to ensure program integrity and aligning F5 rebates and incentives with strategic goals to drive subscriptions, software, and security with channel partners.

Stephanie Nalick, Sr. Director, F5 Channel Sales
Stephanie Nalick has more than 25 years of channel experience and oversees the National Partner Sales Team, comprising F5's largest strategic partners across North America. She’s focused on leading her team to achieve significant growth in F5 Distributed Cloud, F5 Security, and F5 NGINX through flexible consumption offerings. In the past year, she and her team initiated annual partner plans focused on: use case and solution-based enablement; lead nurturing to drive pipeline-create; services-attach selling motions; and post-sale inspection for expansion and growth opportunities.

Erin Oettle, F5 Sr. Channel Program Manager, North America
Erin Oettle manages the F5 Unity+ Partner Program for North America and has been recognized by CRNs Women of the Channel each year since 2016 and the iPED Channel Masters Program. This past year, she executed the annual Unity+ audit, managing rebates and incentives for NAMER resellers and distributors, and implementing data integrity improvements and system updates. She’s also been working to improve the channel sales onboarding process, managing F5’s NAMER Partner Advisory Council, and partnering with WW Programs team to manage Unity+ program updates and communications.

Maya Parris, F5 Sr. National Partner Manager
Maya Parris brings 26 years of channel partner experience to her position as F5 Senior National Partner Manager, leading the growth of Velocity Partner sales. In the past year, her focus has been on creating and leading strategic projects with the intent to change behavior around capturing partner mindshare. These projects have developed into an annual incentive program for F5s national partners. This was a big step in creating cohesive programs that could be used across multiple partners.

Barbara Abboud, former F5 Director, Partner Sales
As previous Director of Partner Sales, Barbara Abboud helped sales organizations realize the comprehensive value partners bring to the sales motion. During the past year, she implemented monthly learning chats to drive more purposeful engagements in the field, in addition to a partner incentive in North America to help partners—through training and alignment—better understand how to position F5 solutions.
