Appoints Jodie Tran as New Zealand Partner Manager

SYDNEY, DECEMBER 12, 2017 F5 Networks (NASDAQ: FFIV) today announced the appointment of Jodie Tran as Partner Manager for New Zealand. Based in F5's Auckland office, Jodie will be responsible for all partner activity in New Zealand, ranging from onboarding new partners, technical and sales enablement and management of commercial partner programs.

Commenting on the appointment, Rob Malkin, Regional Vice President and Managing Director for F5 Australia/New Zealand said, "F5 has seen some great recent success in New Zealand. We consider New Zealand a strategic business and innovation hub within the APAC region, with our Auckland office also housing one of our major global support centres. The application economy is booming globally, and New Zealand is at the forefront of this growth."

"Over the past couple of years our portfolio of solutions has evolved to support our customer’s journey from the data centre to the cloud. Our licensing models have changed as we support our customer’s choice to buy, subscribe, or pay-as-they-go. And our shifting approach to security is reflective of the increased vulnerability of applications as the new gateway to customer data."

"Jodie is tasked with sharing our transformation across our Partner base, and her appointment demonstrates F5’s continued investment in the New Zealand team and to our Partners in the region," added Malkin.

New Zealand’s demand for app services combined with a pool of strong local talent means that F5 has almost doubled its NZ headcount in just three years. In 2016, the Auckland team moved to a larger facility to cater for its continued growth.

"More companies are choosing NZ as their base, and technology is fuelling this boom. As the technology landscape continues to expand, partnerships with the right technology providers are critical for success – especially with cloud and applications driving business growth," said Richard Rogers, F5's Country Manager for NZ and Pacific Islands.

"Which is why we are thrilled to have Jodie on board to drive our channel program. We’re looking forward to her building strong relationships with our partners to help their customers become leaders in today’s multi-cloud world."

Jodie brings over 10 years of experience from across sales and business development. She was most recently the Business Development Manager at Hypermedia NZ. Prior to that, she has worked at SecureData Europe and GrabOne New Zealand.
