Customer Edge (CE) solutions have long served as a game changer for our customers. The ability to deploy lightweight software locally in their public clouds or on-premises environments—while also maintaining hybrid SaaS connectivity—is unique to F5. Our CE solutions have taken a significant leap forward with the introduction of several key capabilities:
- CE on AWS Marketplace: Simplified deployment is available via AWS Marketplace, making it easier than ever for customers to leverage the most recent secure mesh CE technology.
- CE on Nutanix: The recently updated Secure Mesh Site (v2) software for simplifying CE deployments is now generally available on Nutanix, providing greater flexibility and security.
- CE log bundle and site tools: Early access to log collection and command execution from the F5 Distributed Cloud Console enhances operational efficiency.
- CE on GCP Marketplace: The option to launch virtual machines for Secure Mesh Site (v2) CE nodes on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) expands our cloud footprint.
- Simplified CE workflow: General availability for GCP, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and OpenStack streamlines deployment processes.

This release also provides early access to malware protection, with real-time scanning of file uploads to detect malicious software and prevent harmful content from reaching the origin.
In addition, new native Jira integration streamlines issue management by automatically creating tickets to assist with API vulnerability tracking.

The security dashboard provides comprehensive visibility, with a new tab for F5 BIG-IP observability. The latest update also includes AI assistant time ranges, time-based queries for network flow analysis that enable more precise investigations. Plus, we’ve added new filters for security events—TLS fingerprint, signature ID, path, and country—which offer more granular control.

This release also includes the launch of a new U.S.-based logging region on the F5 Global Network. As part of our ongoing investment in compliance, resilience, and customer-centric innovation, customers can update their subscriptions to include localized log collection for an additional fee as part of the F5 Distributed Cloud Data Localization Suite.
