Hong Kong, November 3, 2015 — F5 Networks (NASDAQ: FFIV), the leading Application Delivery solution provider recently announced the appointment of Larry Zhang as Director of Systems Engineering for the Greater China region. Based in Shanghai, Zhang will be responsible for overseeing the technical teams across mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan to steer the development and delivery of F5 solutions in Greater China region. Zhang will report directly to Mohan Veloo, Vice President, Systems Engineering, Asia Pacific. Meanwhile, he will closely collaborate with Jerry Huang, Managing Director of Sales, Greater China region, to outline the strategy for F5’s technical expansion in the region.

Zhang has extensive years of experience in managing technical teams in the Greater China region. Prior to joining F5, Zhang was the Director of Systems Engineering in Greater China of VMware and has successfully deployed the virtualized technology promotional strategy in the region. In addition, Zhang has published tens of IT specialized professional papers in a variety of industry journals, with topics involving cloud computing infrastructure and security, CMM certification, disaster recovery infrastructure, virtualization and compliance. Zhang also served as the committee member of China National Disaster Recovery Expert Committee and the Expert to Foreknow Key Technology Trend for Shanghai Government from 2010 to 2011. He graduated from the Shanghai Jiao Tong University with a Master’s degree and also owns an industrialized patent.
